I have some serious first hand experience with anxiety. During my first year exams of college, I would voluntarily sleep 4 hours/day and drink 500mg of Coffee. That my friend is a perfect recipe to manufacture anxiety.
In addition to that I have been fortunate enough to come in contact with many people reporting anxiety issues. Today, I can literally bet on efficacy of Anulom Vilom for general domestic anxieties.
ANULOM VILOM IS LIKE ROMANCE OF IDA & PINGALA
- Use your thumb to block one side of nose.
- Inhale through the other. Inhaling specifically through one side of nose is a unique physiological stimulus. Feel it.
- Hold. Let the Prana distribute itself on both sides. Let one naadi show it’s love to the other naadi.
- Use your fingers to block other nostril. Open the airway on thumb side.
- Inhale from thumb side. The cycle repeats.

What to do if you are an INTROVERT & Afraid of World
Introverts are of two types –
- You can either be a true introvert with dominant Ida.
You are as afraid of a group of 3 people as you are with
Audience of 30.
- Or you can have loss of control over Nadis. In this case your balance will go berserk in front of audience and you will forget what you were supposed to say. Anxiety will occur in this case as well.
Anxiety is a sudden outburst of impulse in Pingala
Pingla says ‘do something, do something’ ; but there is
no Ida to tell it what that ‘something’ is.
You are so full of undirectional energy that you may
start sweating, hands may start trembling & heartbeat might

(I myself overcame introvercy by talking to maids. Even
if i say something awkward, who cares, right?)
I accidentally tested the third point last weekend by the way. I got a new heavy wristwatch. Wearing that with my dense Karra did not seem a wise idea. So I wore it on right wrist.
